Bookshop Cafe
Our first year included a Narnia themed cafe. This year, it’s anyone’s guess!
The cafe will be open throughout the day serving food and refreshments:
- hot and cold drinks
- bacon butties
- snacks
- cakes
Bookshop
The bookshop will be open throughout the day too. You will be able to purchase authors books as a thank you to them for giving their time pro bono in order to keep our event FREE. The bookshop will be manned by volunteers. Books for sale, include new launches as well as popular sellers, and authors are happy to sign books on the day.

To make sure that we have enough books in stock for the day we are opening up the festival to preorders:
If you would like to preorder a book, please complete the contact form on this website. You do not need to pay in advance, but we will let the authors know how many books they need to bring in addition to usual stock.

There will be three workshops to be held in the community centre. These are ticketed events due to space restrictions so please book a ticket. You can do this via this website.
Panel Discussions
Our panel discussions for this year will be held at Springwood Leisure Centre from 11am – 4pm.

Author book reading tasters!
Authors will be reading short excerpts from their books throughout the day. Children’s story time sessions will be held.
Prize Raffle/Tombola
There will be a prize raffle on the day as well as tombola! Prizes will be literary themed.
