If you or an author you represent would like to be part of Oakwood Literature Festival please read the information below.
Programming for the annual May festival begins in October each year and the programme is finalised by the end of January.
We receive a large number of programming suggestions and enquiries, and although we try to respond to everything it’s not always possible for our small team to do so. Please bear with us. If your submission is of interest we will contact you.
We are still open submissions for the OLF 2020 programme.
We welcome pitches from publishers of fiction and non-fiction. If you are working with an author with a book out in 2020, we want to hear about it!
Pitches from small, independent presses are welcomed as much as those from major publishing houses.
Each year we have a series of strands that run through the festival programme and we are particularly keen to hear about books that fit with those strands.
We are particularly interested in works around WWII that will coincide with 75 year anniversary of VE Day in 2020. We aim for a varied programme, though and pitches for other works are welcome.
Please send all programming suggestions and pitches to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to be part of OLF 2020, please contact us direct if you have a track record of successful publishing and will be releasing a book in 2020 that might be of interest to us. You may want to ask the publicist at your publishing company to get in touch with us.
We receive a lot of emails and may not be able to respond to all enquiries.
If you are working on a particular project or touring show that might be suitable for the festival please email us.
