The Poetry competition, Hopes and Dreams will inspire students to write about what they believe in! We encourage them to voice their opinions and write about what they feel passionate about. We would like students to think about what it is that really matters to them and what are their hopes and dreams, short or long-term.
We will produce an anthology of around 200 winning entries with prizes going to the top three entries. Although the anthology will be titled Hopes and Dreams, please encourage children to choose an original title for their poems. They can write in any poetry style demonstrating their imagination and technical writing ability.
Students are encouraged to be creative in their choice of words, using what they have learnt this term.
Only one entry per student will be accepted
The student’s first name, surname and age should be clearly written on their entry
The school name and address to be stamped on all entries.
Deadline: all entries must be received by February 15th 2019

3rd Prize £50
All participating schools will receive one free copy of the anthology for their school.
